About Us
MyOwnCarShow is a family business owned and operated by Norm and Shirley Stamm and their daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Silas Lyons.
Norm has worked on and enjoyed cool cars and hot rods since his teens. One of his first was a 1954 Ford. He bored, balanced and rebuilt the engine and raced it in the streets of Southern California. As Norm aged he slowed down a bit (quite a bit) and purchased a 1930 Model A Tudor. Although it didn't go as fast as his first hot rod, Norm enjoyed restoring it to its original condition. But Shirley wanted to go faster, and her favorite classic car is the '57 Chevy Bel-Air. So they sold the Model A and bought a black '57 Chevy. For performance, Norm put a rebuilt 327 Chevy engine in it. Norm busted all his knuckles and spent all his money, but when he was done it was back in showroom shape. Take a look.
Norm and Shirley both like vintage cars much more than computers, so they partnered with their daughter and son-in-law to develop this antique automobiles and hot rods community.
