What is MyOwnCarShow?
MyOwnCarShow is the best online car show and classic car club for cool cars and hot rods enthusiasts to show off their rides and connect with like-minded folks. Each member receives a complete webpage that can be customized to fit his or her car and personality. Members get generous amounts of space for photos, videos and descriptions of their ride. We offer spec sheets, photo and video albums, comment boards, link exchanges, and much more. Check it out. We trust you'll like what you see. And it’s free.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. MyOwnCarShow is completely free. We want you to visit often, build a site you’re proud of, and attract other people to visit. It’s as simple as that.
How much time does it take to build a CarShow site?
To get started with a few pictures and a quick description of your hot rod, you can count on about 15 minutes. Of course, investing more time will give you a better place to show off your cool car – with photo albums, long descriptions and frequent updates of ongoing restoration work, shows, trips, etc. Whichever fits your need, we can promise that our simple tools will make the experience with us an easy, enjoyable one.
Can I update my CarShow site as often as I want?
Please do. When you sign up you will chose a login name and password that will allow you to edit your site any time. MyOwnCarShow is highly organized, so your CarShow site can show of your ride effectively. Our special features such as Car Notes, Trophy Table, Photo Albums and others help you display changing information quickly and easily.
What features are included with MyOwnCarShow?

Are there space limitations? How many photos, videos, etc. can I post?
We want you to be able to show off your cool cars or hot rods as much as possible. Of course, it costs us money to store all those photos and videos, and if the system were abused we might have to start limiting it. For now, it has been working well to just ask members to be reasonable about how much they post. We hope it will stay that way for a long time.
What type of image files can be uploaded?
The following format can be easily uploaded using MyOwnCarShow's one-click photo upload: JPEG, GIFF, PNG.
Will my site be removed or deleted?
No. We will keep your site up indefinitely as long as it has a featured photo and is updated at least every 90 days.
It says you sent me an e-mail but I never got it. Where's the e-mail?
Very often, your well-intentioned e-mail service gets the idea that a message from a business such as MyOwnCarShow is spam. The first thing to do is to look for a folder on the program you use to receive e-mail that says "Spam", "Junk", or "Bulk". It could be that our message wound up in that folder. If so, you might want to add "myowncarshow.com" to your list of approved senders so that future messages don't get trashed. If this doesn't solve your problem, please contact us.
Will there be advertising on my CarShow site?
Yes. There will be carefully selected, relevant advertising on member pages. Please support us by supporting these advertisers. Just click on their ad and take a look at what they offer -- you might find something you need!
Do I need a web hosting account?
No. We host your site for free. It is all part of your FREE classic car show membership.
How will my friends, family or others find my site?
There are a number of ways:
First, when you sign up you have the option of listing three email addresses (you can add more later). These email addresses will be notified each time you update your page.
Secondly, when you sign up for your CarShow site you will be asked to choose a URL (web address). You can send this address to all your friends and family so they can check out your cool cars.
Third, we offer a search so anyone can locate their favorite cars in our directory. People can search by Make, Model and Year. They can also whittle it down further to modified or unmodified hot rods.
And finally, you can use a nifty little tool on your own page to generate business cards that are ready to send straight to your printer. These include the Web address of your page.
Do I have my own Web address that I can give out to people?
Yes. This is exclusively from MyOwnCarShow. When you set up your online car show site, you will be asked to choose a Web address. You fill in the blank and your site has its own URL (Web address). It is that easy.
