Adding or Changing My Feature Photo

All pages need a featured picture. This is the main photo on your CarShow page. This featured image also appears in the directory making it easier for visitors to browse through the cars quickly.

1. Click here to log in to your CarShow site. Remember that your user name and password are case sensitive.
2. To add a featured photo, you must first have pictures uploaded into a photo album. Please see "creating a photo album" instructions below.
3. Once an album is established, click on "edit/add photo" link near the top of the Featured Photo section.
4. This link will take you to the "select your featured photo" page.
5. Find the photo you'd like to feature on your home page and click the box above it that reads "feature". You will be redirected to your home page where you'll see your new featured photo.

Creating a Photo Album

1. Click here to log in to your CarShow site. Remember that your user name and password are case sensitive.
2. Click the "add album" link at the top of the Photo Album section of your CarShow site.
3. Create an "album name" and "album description" by typing into the fields provided.
4. Click "continue". A photo album will be set up and you will be redirected to the photo upload page.

Adding Photos to a Photo Album

1. Click here to log in to your CarShow site. Remember that your user name and password are case sensitive.
2. Click on an existing photo album (or create an album as instructed above and then skip to number 4 below).
3. Click the "add photos" button (left of center) about a quarter of the way down the page to be taken to the "add photos" page.
4. You should see files/photos from your own computer being pulled into the photo upload software. If you do not see an obvious photo upload area, your computer does not have the software. Use our alternate photo upload (directions below).
5. If you have the software, browse through your computer's files on the left.
6. Once you open the folder with your pictures, you will see them on the right.
7. Select the ones you want by clicking the box above the photo's left corner.
8. You will be notified when the upload is complete by a small popup message.
9. Click there and you will be directed to a new page where you can select a featured image or return to your member home page.

Using the Alternate Photo Upload

1. Click here to log in to your CarShow site. Remember that your user name and password are case sensitive.
2. Click on an existing photo album (or create an album as instructed above and then skip to number 4 below).
3. Click the "add photos" button (left of center) about a quarter of the way down the page to be taken to the "add photos" page.
4. Click the "alternate photo upload" button about a quarter of the way down the page to be taken to the "alternate photo upload" page.
5. Click the "browse" button to located photos on your computer.
6. Once you've found the photo you'd like, double click the image and it will appear in the corresponding field. Repeat this up to eight times.
7. Click "upload". You will then be directed to a new page that lets you know your photos where uploaded successfully. It will also give you the option of "adding more photos", "choosing a featured photo" or "returning to your member page".
8. If you haven't selected a featured photo do so now.
