Hiding, Restoring and Moving a Section on your Site

Hiding Sections on the Member Home Page

When you set up your CarShow site, many modules automatically appear on the page. If you want to remove any of them, simply:

  1. Click here to log in to your CarShow site. Remember that your user name and password are case sensitive.
  2. Click the "hide section" link near the top of the module you'd like to hide. The section will turn red.
  3. Once you have selected the modules you would like to remove, press the "save layout changes" button, which is located on the right, near the top and bottom of your page.
  4. The sections will then be hidden.

Restoring/Adding Sections to the Member Home Page

  1. Click here to log in to your CarShow site. Remember that your user name and password are case sensitive.
  2. Above the left column of the member home page, you'll find the "Add a module to the left/right column" drop down menus.
  3. Look in the first drop down menu and choose the module you would like to add/restore.
  4. In the second drop down, choose what column you would like the column to appear in.
  5. Click the "add" button. The section will appear in the in the appropriate column.
  6. If you’d like to move the section, use the "click and drag" button and then "save layout changes".

Changing the Order of Home Page Sections

  1. Click here to log in to your CarShow site. Remember that your user name and password are case sensitive.
  2. Find the "Click and Drag" button on the top, left corner of each home page section.
  3. While continuing to click/hold, drag the section to the new position and release.
  4. When finished changing the order of your home page, click on the "save layout changes" button that appears on the right, near the top and bottom of your page.
