Adding, Editing and Deleting Car Notes and Car Specs Items

Adding Car Notes

  1. Click here to log in to your CarShow site. Remember that your user name and password are case sensitive.
  2. Click "add notes" near the top of the Car Notes section.
  3. This link will take you to a new page where you can type in a title and notes about your ride.
  4. Click "add notes" to add the entry to your page.

Editing and Deleting Car Notes

  1. Click here to log in to your CarShow site. Remember that your user name and password are case sensitive.
  2. Click the "edit" link near the top of the Car Notes section
  3. This link will take you to a new page where you can edit or delete Car Note entries. Click "edit car notes" when finished.
  4. On this page, you can also comment on previous entries you have made, similar to a blog. Click "submit" when you are finished.

Adding and Editing Car Specs

The Car Specs section is started during your sign up process. However, it is designed so you can add all of your car's specs to it. To add or edit information in this section:

  1. Click here to log in to your CarShow site. Remember that your user name and password are case sensitive.
  2. Click the "edit/add fields" link on the top of the section.
  3. Once you have been taken to the "ride specs" page, you will see drop down menus where you can change the make, model and year of your vehicle.
  4. On this page, you can also add additional specs simply by typing in a category and specification then clicking the "add additional field" button.
  5. The new fields will appear above.
  6. Once you are finished typing in the additional fields, click "save specs" to add them to your main page.

Deleting Car Specs Additional Fields

  1. Click here to log in to your CarShow site. Remember that your user name and password are case sensitive.
  2. Click the "edit/add fields" link on the top of the section.
  3. Once you have been taken to the "rides specs" page, you will see a "remove" button next to each entry. Click the button to remove the field.
  4. You must click "save specs" to apply the changes to your main page
